In the senior division, the holders of the championship, Indian Recreation Club, brought off a convincing win at the ex- pense of South China Athletic Association despite the fact that they did not have their full team out. They are strongly favoured to retain the shield for another season.

The most outstanding victory of the day must be credited to the University who did not concede even a single set to Craigen- gower Cricket Club when they met at Pokfulam, while the game between the indie Sports Club and Kowloon Indian Tennis Club re- sulted in the teams each getting 4 points.
