London, April 23.-A silence of thirteen years has been broken by General Sir Hubert Gough, Bir Hubert was one of the fow great figures of the War who had not written about his own part in it, although ever since ho was supor sedod in the command of the Fifth Army, controversy has raged, over hia recall.
