Fiddling around the edge of the Grand Canyon on an old-fashioned side-saddle is not exactly, a treat; according to Kay Johnson.
Because of their danger on mouri- tein trails, side saddles for ladies have not been permitted at the Canyon for many years. Special Miss permission was granted to Johnson, because scenes in King Vidor's "Billy The Kid," which will open at the Queen's Theatre on Sunday, required her to be dressed and mounted as in the 50'. And girls fresh from Eng: Innd didn't ride cowboy "stock" saddles in those days.
