MR. FROST RIDES FIVE WINNERS.
APOLLO WINS AGGREGATE STAKES IN RECORD TIME:
KING'S BOUNTY SECOND.
HETMAN AND SITTING, BULL BOTH "BEATEN.
[BY MORNING DEW.")
The Easter Meeting proved to be a great triumph for Mr. Frost "who, after riding five winhora and two seconds on Saturday, followed his success with 'five more winners yesterday and three thirdu.
The outstanding race of the day was, of course, the New Aggregate Stakes over six furlongs. Apollo wish the event from King's Bounty and returned the excellent time of 1 minute 25.1 seconds which is easily a récord for China ponies in Hong Kong, King's Bounty put up a very strong opposition and stayed closed to Apollo over the first half a mile, but was no match for Mr. Chan Tin Son's canill'date in the straight
Sitting Bull was lefeated when he was saddled for the Easter Handicap over a milo and a half where he carried top weight. Gay Crusader, after his axdellent showing on Saturday repeated his performance and are again came home a winner, Wisdom Stag also started in this race, but had to be satisfied with third placo
'Hetman was again defeated, this time over six furlonga by, Mr. Dunbar's Gleneagles. The pony must have been suffering from the strain of the gruelling race Fe had with Apollo on Saturday.
MORNING STAR PAYS BIG DIVIDEND.
The programine opened with a raca for Australians and Evening Star ridden by Mr. Harriman was made a firm favourite. There was much speculation is to whether the lightly woighted Caulfield (112 pounds) could do the trick. Events proved that this nouy was not good enough. Pegasus got well away early in the race and entering the straight. first, won much as he liked with the favourite occupying sreond place, Fritz, ridden by Mr. Heard and carrying top-weight was
third.
Hotman Baaten.
The second race anw the defeat of Heiman at the bands of Gleneagles Mr. Tozn took Hetrian out at the antaut and kept him in front until eutering the straight when Mr. Heard sent up Glenoaples arhiich pissed fetman comfortably. As stated previously Hetmaft appeared to be suffering from the afficets of his hard race with Apollo on Satur- dity. There were six starters in all

the way but was outpaced in the straight Vamoose, ridden by Mr. Charles filled the third place.
Apollo had no difficulty in win- king, the Aggregate Stakes where he paid his supporters 40 cents profit for a win. The pony bide.fair to win the Aggregate Cup this season.
t
The tenth raon of the day, the Bas Bay Handicap, resulted in the biggest dividend of the day, Morn- ng Star paying 8276.60 to each of his supporters. Two griffins of this meeting, Morning Star and Min- doro, filled the first two places with The Pheasant getting third. Morn- ing Star was ridden by Mr. Ip and was not prominent at any stage of the race. The pony responded beautifully to Mr. Ip's urging at the distance post and gradually came up on the lenders to win right at the winning post, when Mindoro looked every inch a winner. The Pheasant lost ground when he bor ed out badly over the last hundred yards of the race,
