The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, after holding a very successful gymkana at Fanling re- cently, held an athletic meeting at Soukupop on Saturday and pro- vided visitors with a good all- round exhibition. The races pro- duced very keen competition, and some very fast times were register. ed.

A Battalion record was not up during the afternoon when the winner of the event for Throwing the Hammer succeeded in touching 112 feet 7 inches.
