Although the Navy did well to bent Chinn Athlotie by two goals to nil-play being fast and exciting throughout, the game was anfortunately marred by bad decisions on the part of the roleroo

In a high-scoring match the Club again created a surprise by beating Argylls by the wide margin of five goals to two.

Kowloon played the better game, and deserved their win against Recreio.

In Division II. Argylls scored an ensy victory over St. Joseph's and the Club brat Kowloon, after a great struggle, by the odd goal. In Division III, the most notable untch was that between L.A.S.C. and R.A.F. which resulted in a win for the latter by the phenomenal score of nine goals to three.

The Chinese New Year Meeting of the Fanling Hunt and Raco Club attracted the usual crowd of racing fans to Kwantl yesterday. A very good day's sport was seen and everyone who made the trip must have enjoyed the racing provided.

The ladies' ovent proved to be the most popular race on the card. Honours went to Mrs. Dowley who brought Country Club home in a field of mine.. Misa P. Boolt Harston, riding Big Ching, took second place, and Mrs. Arnold on Heretofore was third.

Lady Feel won her first race in Hong Kong when Captain Coltman brought in Marquis Hall to win the last race of the day.

The cups won yesterday were presented by Mrs. Hazeland. In sddition to prizes for the ladies who were placed in the ladies' event, there were cups for the Volunteers' raca (won by. Mr. Char- los), the Chins Now Year Handicap (won by Mr. Stanton on Christmas Frolic), the Fat Choy Handicap (won by Mr., Bram- well) and the Hunter's Hurdle Race (won by Mr. Corbett on For Leat).

The Hunters Hurdle Race. There were fifteen starters for the opeiring avent on the card and Fanling Stag was made favourite.
