CHINESE QUALIFY TO MEET CIVILIANS IN FINAL.

The semi-final of the Lai Wah Cup Competition between the Chinese and the Army attracted a very large crowd to Happy Vallby, and by winning by the odd goal in soven, the Chinese qualified to meet the Civilians in the final. It was a very good game, the standard of football being very high and both sides brought off very nice moves and saves in turn.

There were two games' in the senior division, Kowloon and Police taking full points from the Club and St. Joseph's, respec- tively.
In the second division, Easteru necounted for the Chub while the Royal Navy scored a,win over Month China.

DIVISION 11.
EASTERN v. CLUB.
This match was played on the Club ground, and ended in a win for the former by four goals to one. From the commencement Eastern attacked but the Club's defence cleared. The Club then broke away and within three minutes Bell scored. This setback, however; did not discourago Eastern who con- tinued to play clover football and were soon awarded a penalty, which they converted. Nino players from South China and two from the Athletic won by four goals to three against a strong Army team after a hot skirmish. The match was played on the Club ground and there wore patches of skilful tacties, which delighted the large crowd of spectators.
