GREATER RANGE AND SELECTIVITY.

HAVE YOU HEARD THESE?

Kore are lots of long-wave and short-wave stations which should be picked up by anyone in Hong Kong who has a mode rately good sot suitable for re- colving such signals. Success in picking up those stations also depends very largely upon fav- ourable atmospheric conditions: Benders are invited to add to this list should they succeed in ploking up any station not in- cluded in either of those lata.

This is known as the *K.-B. Pup," a two-valve set at a moderuds price, which incorporates an. cellent loud speaker, but still leaves ample room in its oak cabinet for the accommodation of high and lo tension batterica.

The Pup," a handsome little. sut, is thoroughly well constructed, and carries the usual Kolster- Brandes guarantee of efficiency.

The Greophone range of the General Electric Company's pop- lar receivers has been increased to include a three-valve all-electric A.C. mains set at the price of an ordinary pentable.

Many Stations,

The sot is handsomely housed in black and gold, and with a seTORN. ed-grid Osram valve in the first stage and a pentode in the output stago gives a wide range of statione at full power, combined with great sensitivity and selectivity...

It is an entirely trouble-frie set, and yields results of excep- tional purity and brilliance.

Three new all-electric receivers have been designed for the present" season by the Columbia Grapho phon's Compnay," Ltd."'*-

These include nociel 331, a three- valve pedestal, cabinet set, finished in mahogany or walnut, which is not only an efficient receiver but a handsome and dignified piece of | furnitura fit for any drawing room. -Model 307 has a screened grid detector pentode circuit with Illuminated controls and a' tuning dial calibrated in ware-lengths. This is a table model, and is notable for its great range and volume.

A High-Standard. The third of the new models in a cheaper set intended for the reception of the alternative pro grammes, but it is marked by the same high standard of construction as the costlier models.

The older model; No. 304, tho five- valve set with three scrocamd-grid valves, still maintains its hold on popular favour and retains its position as an instrument for lo expert.

All the models can be supplied
