INDIAN RECREATION CLUB'S "DOUBLE."

SOOKUNPOO CLUB HEADING BOTH DIVISIONS,

CRAIGENGOWER AGAIN TROUNCE KOWLOON IN FRIENDLY,

Although no less than eight ericket antches were played over the week-end, only two of these were league fixtures, and there resulted in victories for the Indian Recreation Club over the Navy and Police in the senior and junior divisions, respectively; While the LRO have secured 10 points out of a possible 19 in Division 1., they have not dropped a point in the junior section out of five matches played and are now being seriously considered as con- tenders of championship honours,

Craigengower Cricket Club again got the better of Kowloon flast season's champions), while a high-scoring match between H.K.C.C., and C.S.C.C. resulted in a draw:

League batting honours went to A. R. H. Esmail, of the I.R.C. seconds, who made 80 not out, while F. M. el Arculli of the same team was the most successful bowler, hid figures being 6 for 18.

The former secured six wickets for i 29 runs while the latter had 4 for Glass and Baker were the highest scorers for the Navy, each making 11 runs.

Then a partner- ship between A. A. Rumjahn (40) not out) and Pereira (20) changed the entire complexion of the game, the visitors eventually winnning by 3 wickets. Rumjahın "played a very stylish innings, while Pereira hit n beautiful sixer in the course of an exterprising knock.
