URGENT APPEAL FOR FUNDS: CAMPAIGN TO RAISE $150,000.

"LONG RECORD OF VALUABLE SERVICES TO COLONY'S SICK POOR.

At the annual meeting of the Alice Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals which was held at the Board Room of the Hong Kong. General Chamber of Commerce yesterday, the Chairman, the Hon. Dr. S. W. T'ao, O.B.E., epoke on the urgent need for a new Netherole Hospital.

To achieve this purpose, a sum of $150,000 is required and an appeal has been issued for donations. It was stated that the present Nethersola Hospital has done yeoman service for 37 yearsp and the time has now arrived when the building no longer serves ito needs.
