LAWN' BOWLS LEAGUE MATCHES.

LEADERS IN BOTH DIVISIONS STILL TOGETHER.

UNSUCCESSFUL EFFORTS BY TAIKOO SENIORS AND THE YACHT CLUB,

SECOND VICTORY FOR KOWLOON

DOCK.

Civil, Service and Craigengower, joint-leaders in the senior divisiog of the lawn bowls lengue, took the points again on Saturday to place other competitors behind. Civil Service took the points from the Bowling Green team by 15 shots after a close game up to tea time. The Police started well against the chap- pions, but the latter pulled up to win by 17 shots. Kowloon. Dock broke their spell of bad luck by defeating Club de Recreio, while Kowloon, C.C. had their revenge na Taikoo by a margin of seven .chute.

Bowling Green and Civil Service junjörs both won this time, the former accounting for the Yacht Club by 14 shots. Civil Ser- vice had a comfortable victory at Craigenzower. The Electricians lest at Taikoo, and Kowloon C.C. took the points at Club de Recreio by a majority of four shots.

The defent of Taikoo in the senior division and the Yacht Club in the junior has now removed the obstruction in the way of the two leading teams in each division, who are left to decide the issue between themselves.
