In compliance with the request of Mr. Tang Shao Yi, the Provia cial Council appropriated yesterday $30,000 as opening expense for the development of Tong Ka Was into

a world duty-free port.

The opening ceremony will be held on July 20 at Toog Es Wan,

after which actual work will start.

An elaborate programme is being arranged. for the occasion.

All the high officials of the Government are expected to be present at the opening meeting.
