A remarkable railway innovation was introduced by the Canadian National Railways last month, on their famous Monreal-Chicago ex- press, "International Ltd."
Passengers on the train are now able to telephone from the 30 miles an hour train to their homes and places of business.
People in Montreal, Toronto and other centres may establish tele- phonic communication. with the train, whether it is in motion "er standing.

The method now publicly, used ig a form of broadcasting.
