Money still seems to be pretty easy on the market, and for this reason alone, if for no other, rates should be maintained, although there are one or two stocks which are distinctly "top heavy" at the moment, and about which there may be cause for anxiety later on. Those who are investing in this market would do well to study the balance-sheets of the companies in which they intend to invest, as a careinl study generally reveals many things which will assist the investor in determining whether or not he is getting his money's worth. Any good frm of brokers can furaish clients with such balance

sheets.

HONG KONG REALTIES"eased off slightly after sales were effected at $11.20 to $11.40. Buyers would only offer $10.00 for shares on Satur

day.

HUMPHRYS are quoted at $13 buyers and sales ex dividend, which is an improvement over last week. There are quite a number of in- quiries in this stock.

.HONG KONG TRAMS have buy ers at 80.75 and sellers at 321. Little business was done in this stock during the week.

STAR FERRIES changed hands at 853 to $56, and I think there are buyers of further shares at. 885,50, but sellers are hanging out for more. The stock has gone up six points during the week."

CHINA LIGHTS" were dealt in to a fairly large extent at 829.75 to 820 for the old shares, and closed with sellers at 99.75 for the old.

HONG KONG ELECTRICS show- ed a further improvement and s good number of shares were sold at $76.50 to $79.73.
