M. BLERIOT EVOLVES NEW AEROPLANE.

PARIS TO TOKYO NON-STOP.

To be able to fly round the earth in only three, separate hops is the latest development evisaged by French air experts.

And a machine which is believed to be capable of achieving this re- markable feat is due to M. Louis Bleriot, the famous, pioneer of fly. dog.

Only 21 years ago M. Blariot was struggling to evolve a machine that would carry him across the Chag pel.

It was on July 23, 1909, that he flew from near Calais to Dover, being the first airman to cross the narrow strip of water which divides England From France.

U.S. Steel led in the decline, dropping below 100 and closing at that figure. which represented a loss of four points as compared with yesterday's close. Bethlehem closed off 1 to 034. Ludlum was off

a quarter to 31.

at 137 Borg Warner was off to 373. Kreuger & Toll rose 4 to 33. Goneral Motors was off i to 15.

Call money continued, at the 3 per cent. level.
