"It is a good to see & picture which has an original story to tell, and when the telling of it is mainly "in the hands of sich a capable actor na Reginald Deany, one gets an ideal combination

"One Hysterical Night," the "all-talkie now showing at the Queen's Theatre, is a film which is novel both in subject and treatment. One does not associate humour with life in a lunatic asylum, bat Denny as Napoleon, and sundry other notable historic figures make a comic hotch-potch" of history which is funny and original. Be hind all this fooling there is a story of wicked persons having designs on Napoleon's fortune, and thers is, ofcourse, a little romance with Josephine as well.

The pictures which precede the big film are particularly good. There are two really humorous "talkies," and a new comic animal picture which is exceedingly clever The short films showing the adven- tures of the Pat Rooney family, and the friendly lesson in motor ing are rich in real humour, while the news reel is also most interest ing.

The Council, the prison authori ties, and the police were deserving of praise for the way in which they had co-operated with him during and subsequent to the anxious days of his clients' fight against impri- sonment, Dr. Fischer said.
