San Francisco, Cal., April The California State Boxing Com- mission issued an order today for bidding forever the Italian heavy- weight boxer Carnera to appear in matches in California. The action followed Carnera's strange victory orer Chevalier here last week, and Chevalier's testimony that he was threatened with injury if he did not throw" the match.
The Commission also revoked the license granted to Carnera's man- ager, Duffy Sec, and suspended in- definitely his western representa tive, Frank, Churchill, and his at- tendant McGrath and two seconds who were in his corner at the Che- valier fight.

Portland, Ore., April 22-The Italian heavyweight boxer Car nera defeated the American, Sam Baker, by a knockout in the first round of their match here to-night.
Victoria for La Barba, Chicago, April -Fidel La Barba "wor a decision over Bud Taylor in their match here to-night after all but losing the fight in the first round. Taylor floored La Barba shortly after the bell start- ing the match and La Barba re- mained down for, the count of seven. He was badly dazed as he came up but was able to cover up and weather the round. From the sceond round on La Barba took the lead and won the decision.

He, said he was unable to understand, however, why the consul should re- fuse to accompany officials to the immigration office, where they wish- td to ask him formally whether he was returning to the United States as an American citizen or as the representative of a foreign government.
Meanwhile Mr. Chan still re- nained aboard the Chichibu Mary and officials said they hoped to question him during to-day.
