ENGLISH CUP FINAL.
ROYALTY PRESENT AT WEMBLEY STADIUM.
ARSENAL GAINS A DESERVING VICTORY.
HUDDERSFIELD BEATEN BY TWO GOALS.
Huddersfield fared no better than two seasons ago, when they were beaten by Blackburn Rovers in the Cup Final, in their meet- ing with the Ararual on Saturday. The latter won the Cup for. the first time in classic match.
+
The majority of the English League teams have one more match left to complete the season, and on these hinge promotion and rele- gation prospects. While Everton is doomed to drop into the Second- Division, their victory on Saturday leaves them with a fighting chance if they win the remaining two matches, and some of the " other four teams fuil in their last' game. Blackpool has qualified..
for promotion to the First Division Chelsea have to win their last match to make sure of going up. The relegation problem is an uncertain one, and any two of the four teams in the Second Division may go down..

A. £12,000,000 WIDOW.
FAMOUS HOSTESS TO RETURN
-.4
TO LONDON.
Mrs. James Corrigan, widow of the multi-millionaire steel king, and famous as a London bostess, is planning to return to London from America, following the sale of the Corrigan cKinney Steel-Company- to the Minther interests.
Mrs. Corrigan, it is stated, re- ceived about £12,000,000 from the sale of the Corrigan-McKinney com. pany, in which she held a 51 per cent. interest.
She is now one of the wealthiest women in the world, although she once worked in a Chicago restau- 1ant...
As she packed her trunks, pre paratory to leaving for New York en route for England, she was laughing at the local society lead- era, who snubbed her when she first came to Cleveland as the bride of the founder of the Corrigan-Me- Kinney Company,
Mrs. Corrigan spends little time in America nowadays. She prefers to spend her millione in the more congenial atmosphere of London society and on the Continent.
