Capt. H. W. Walker, of the 5.3. Kwangtung, was before the Ilon. Comdr. G. F. Hole, R.N., yester day on the charges of (a) securing 1,993 his vessel to the Yuen On Wharf at about 3.50 p.tn. on April 14 when he had cylinders of compressed acetylene gas on board instead of going to the Dangerous Goods An- chorage and (b) failing to heist the red dag when he had a quantity of dangerous goods on board.
In pleading guilty to both charges, Capt. Walker remarked that he was not on board when the goods were taken in, but he had since giver orders to his crew not to take dangerous goods on board again.
