The Magistrate said that the second charge arose, out of the sume facts but instead of being accused of stealing, defendant was charged with obtaining the mag neto by false pretences by tender ing a cheque which he knew tó be worthless.
Dealing with the remaining three counts. His Worship cherrved that accused was also charged with committing a forgery, which, he said, would involve committal to the Sessions.
At this point, Detective Inspector W. Shannon, for the prosecution, said he was making for a week's förmal remand.
