In the opinion of business experts it is the financial colossus of the world's air industry.
Surveys taken by contending nations of this valuable trade show that Latin America is an undeve loped airfield, that each nation holda certain preferable advan- tages, and that dominant leader ship depends upon immediate

French Prospects. France has followed for a aum, ber of years the policy of training South American commercial and military pilots, who naturally re- turn to their homeland anxious to pilot French-made 'planes. France's long list of air records and publicity gained from them, the control of the Aeropostale, the only air line operating between South America and Europe, possession of stragetic of South islands off the coast America, the thriving condition of the French aviation business, and the generous support both in finar cial and technical fields by the government combine to give France an excellent chance to capture the. highly desirable Latin American trade.
