H.E. the Officer Administering the Government (the Hon. Mr. W. T. Southorn, C.M.G.), distributed the prizes yesterday, at King's College, the occasion being the second anniversary of the official opening of that Institution.
His Excellency in stressing the great opportunities enjoyed by the scholars said:- There is an air of modernism about King's College which must inspire enthusiasm. You cannot work in this find new building without being infected with that spirit of progress of which your Head Master is a living embodiment, and your school buildings a concrete example."
The Headmaster read a very satisfactory report. The health, athletics and general activities of the school were all that could be desired, but examination results were disappointing and not. up to expectations.
