CHINESE GLEE CLUB CONCERT.

AN APPRECIATION.

A Radio Fan writes as followe:— Ona of the best entertainments placed before radio listeners was the programme of the Chinese Glee Club broadcast by Z.B.W. on Fri As one who derived day evening. much enjoyment from the varied items included in the programme, which was not a "recorded par- formance, I should like to place my record through appreciation os your columns.

Individually and in the combined numbers, all who contributed gavo a pleasing display. The conditions were very favourable for listeners. the music and songs, which included some Hawaiian numbers, coming through with perfect clarity.

Mr. Lee Yak Kwan pleased his audience with his rich baritone voice, and there will be many who will look forward to hearing him in the future. Miss Lilian Chenalloy gave some excellent pianoforte solos, while the entertainment would not have achieved the success it did without Miss Mary Ahwee as accom- panist.,
