"The nerves absorb Sanatogen as the parched earth drinks up water"
Those are the words of a physician. He continues: "It is a point among modern physicians to strengthen and nourish the nervous system as the source of all mental and bodily vitality. For this purpose nothing has been devised to equal Sanatogen."
And he is only one of the 24,000 physicians who took the trouble to express in writing that they had tried Sanatogen and found it a good restorative and reliable builder of health.
Assistant Professor of Prof. Mann, formerly Physiology at Oxford University, for instance, wrote after two years of study on the subject of Sanatogen: "A building-up process goes on in the nerves after the administration of Sanatogen."
When you do not feel
quire up to the mark, when your nerves or general health are not as good as they might be, try Sanatogen for a few weeks.

ANOTHER YEAR OF QUIET ENDEAVOUR.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. -
REPORTS BY THE OFFICIALS.
The Tenth Annual General Meeting of the Kowloon Residents' Association will be held in the St. Andrew's Church Hall, Kowloon, on Friday, February 28, at 6 a.m.
The business will include the adoption of report and accounts for the year ended December 31, 1929; clection of officers and com- mittee; "any other business."
It is requested that members and all others interested in the welfare of Kowloon will make an endeavour to be present at the meeting.
We give below the following report of the General Committed of the Association.
WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES.
Authorities with representatives of the Association took place on the spot. Arising out of this discus sion, a scheme was drawn up and submitted to Government, and your Committeee have every hope that this important work will be put in hand in the very near future.
In their report for the year 1927, the General Committee stated they were glad to report a year of quiet endeavour; your Committee are now able to report that the results of this quiet endeavour carried on throughout 1925 and the year under review. are apparent in many ways in the Peninsula, particularly in

The romantic journey of a lovely young prima donna and her motorist husband round the world in Delage touring car, brought them at the end of last week to Hong Kong. They arrived in the rain but after a week, during which the skies have been overcast, the sun came out to welcome them on Saturday, with the happy result that Mille. Odette Darthys, the prima donna of the Paris Opera Comique, and M. Roger Lacor, her husband, "are so charmed with the Colong that they are staying longer than they planned. Better still Mlle. Darthys has consented, in response to the appeals of a stream of callers, to give a concert here before they leave.
The arrangements are not yet con- cluded, but it is probable that the French prima donna will sing" at the Theatre Royal on Saturday night, and an excellent and varied Mile. programme is promised. The car, which was parked yesterday at the top of Pedder Street, was attracting a good deal of attention. The badges on the radiator and the flags which de corate the front mudguards, each have a story to tell, as has the white lettering "World Tour"
