Last Season: E,0.0, won by 6 Wickets.
In a low-scoring match, Kowloon juniors beat the Indians by 9 runs at Sookunpoo,
The Kowloon skipper won the toss but put the Indians in, who were soon dismissed for 80 runs. Hirst bowled well throughout and took 5 wickets for 20 runs. Lep took 3 for 92 and Overy 2 for 99.
Kowloon started none too well, but Lee settled down to some crisp hitting and towards the end things became really exciting. A confident. appeal for a catch against' Lee was negatived and he went on to make 30 runs. A. R. Sufiad was bowling excellently and at one stage his fast deliveries were practically un- playable. He took 4 wickets for 21 runs and Rumjahn had 3 for 94.
