New Danish Arrival.

Arriving from Samarang with n heavy cargo of sugar, the motor vessel Chastrine Maersk, flying the Danish Bag, made her first, visit to the port. She carries 3,250 tons of sugar for Hong Kong and 3,500 tons for other ports. The vessel is owned by Messrs. A. P. Miller & Company and Messrs. Jebsen & Company are local agents. She. was built in 1923 by the Odense Sinalskibs, Odense, with a nett tonnage of 3,100 tons and grosg 3.177 tons. Her motor engines, dê- veloping 450 m.h.p.. were installed by Messrs. Akt. Burmeister & Wain Copenhagen. She is a twin screw vessel and her dimensions are:- Length 378 1., Beam 30.2 ft., and. Depth 31.7 ft. Captain C. Niestšen is in command with a European crew of 90

Collision at Sea, Captain S. Field-Hook, master of the s.s. Ho Sany which arrived here yesterday from Kobe reports 3,520 that on November 20 whilst in Tat.

The master of the ss. Tokushima Maru arriving from Yokohama nil Sakito renorts having rescued n wrecked fisherman from an Open hoat on November 95, the day the vessel left Sakiro. The resched un was brought to Hong Kong and handed over to the local Japanese Consul.
