gowns which have been imported from New York by The Felix Hat Shop. This week I want to write about some equally delightful after- noon frocks from the same place.

The first to attract my attention was a two piece in cocon brown marocains and maize satin. The open short cont and beautifully pleated skirt, which is on a hip yoke, are of the marocaine, the blouse joined in one with the skirt, of satin. In lace of a paler shade,of the fashionable coçon brown is a two piece for bridge or evening

The sleeveless frock has a charming cape back and is long in the skirt. The little coat bas sleeves.

Among some very smart black Frocks I marked at once a maro-') caine with a touch of maize satin in the volants which trimmed the corsage and skirt. Two good strass buckles give a touch of lightness. A jumper suit effect is nchiaved in another black marocaine frock of which the bodice has a becoming cross over edged with velvet. The velvet is used again for a tie on the left hip.. She has brought back with her a wonderful collection of gowns, enats, sports wear, hats and dress jewel- lery which she has personally chosen from the winter showings of the important designers. It is imposs- ible to know where to begin withi any description, but here are one or two things that stand out from ne memory of a hundred and one desirable garments. There is a blue moiré afternoon""frock very much dress-tailored with collar and cuffs of pinky beige silk, which is very smart indeed.
