AMHERST RUBBER.
JENDERAK PROPERTY, TO BE TRANSFERRED.
The cash resources of the Jen-
derak Plasting Syndicate having been depleted by a legal action, the directors propose to transfer the company's property to the Amherst Estates (Selangor) Rubber Com-
pany.
This will be effected on the basis of a pro rata valuation of the two companies' properties as at Dec. 31, 1920, and the purchase con- aideration will be satisfied by the allotment of fully-paid shares in the Amherst Company.
In a circular issued in conner- tion with the scheme by the Amheret Company, the directors of that company intimate that the property of the Jenderak Company is 3,638 acres of first-class land, of which 560 acres have been planted with rubber. It is expected that by the middle of 1933 there should be 500 cres fit to tap. The shares to be allotted in exchange will not be entitled to any 'dividends for the year 1930, as no revenue will accrue from Jenderak estate for the year.
Shareholders of the Amherst Com- pany will be asked to sanction an increase of £25,000 in the capital, and at the end of 1020 or early in 1030 & meeting will be held for the purpose of further increasing the capital by the amount of shares which will be required when the figure of the valuation above re- ferred to is known.
