Dubin.-Maud Conne, or, to state her full name in recent years, Madame Gonne McBride-is a re markable figure, not only in the political history of Ireland, but also in that of France at one period. She was a Boulangist and a Fenian, and in later years espoused the cause of extreme Republicanism in the Irish Free State. In a word, she has always been a revolutionist. She was born about 63 years ago
