RELIEF OF DISTRESS AND A NEW SOCIAL ORDER.
-- SELF-GÖVERNMENT AND SELF-DETERMINATION FOR INDIA.
CONTROL OF THE BANK OF ENGLAND.
The following is a summary of the declared policy of the Labour, Party, now in ofice, including their intentions with regard to social, financial, imperial and Foreign Affairs:-
Industrial Legislation..
1. The Repeal of the Trade Unions Act and the Restoration of Trade Union Rights.
2.-The establishment of a 18-hour week.
6. The protection of the con- sumer against exploitation and the tension of the powers of the Food
Council.
7.-The establishment of the full est possible publicity with regard to costs and profits.
8.-The promotion of scientific provement of industrial technique,
