The 5.8. Antung (British) arriv ing from Singapore and Argy ported the death of a Chinese deck passenger from beri-beri during the voyage.

Now Cheung Chan Ferry Launch.

The new Cheung Chan ferry launch, m.v. Sun Shau was launch- ed at the Taikoo Dockyards yester day morning, the launching cere- mony being performed by Mrs. G. F. Hole, wife of Commander Hole the Harbour Master. The lanach will probably ready for her trials at the end of July and will be put into service immediately. A full report of the launching is given elsewhere in this issue.
