MIXED DOUBLES LEAGUE.
RUNAWAY VICTORIES.
Rain has interfered with the pro- gress of the Tennis League, and for the past fortnight the week.
In the regular matches in the end matches have had to be put off. As a result the Bxtures are badly Mixed Doubles League played yes behind-hand and unless Cluba: ar-terday, the Chinese Recreation Club range mid-week matches, the season and Kowloon Cricket Club, the two will be unduly lengthened. Several Clubs have already made a start in this direction, and others would do well to follow suit.
A Division has not been Despite much affected, however. the heavy showers on Saturday, University, who found their courts dry enough to play on, met the Kowloon Cricket Club, while on Monday the Chinese Recreation Club met the Indian Recreation Club. Most Clubs have already played

There was some capital play in the other matet, between the Chinese and Indian Recreation Clubs, and i although the former won, the La- dians" made a spirited effort. The Chinese who played at home, of coarse started favourites, but the Indians had real hopes of winning, so that rivalry was keen.
S. A. Rumjaha and A. H. Rum- jahn played a great gaine for their Club. They first met 3. K. Lo and Ng Sze Kwong running away with a lead of 53 and being three times within a point of winning the set. The Chinese pair pulled through however and although in the follow- ing four games a ding-dong struggle was seen in each game they wod them all. The Indians continued to play well in the second and third rounds and succeeded in beating M. W. Lo and C. Choa; and Yew Man Kit and Ho Ka Lau.

For the Chinese M. K. Lo and Ng Sze Kwong did best, contribut ing three seta, while Yew Man Kit and Ho Ka Lau dropped two sets. The match was an interesting one to watch as a good deal turned upon it. The standard of play was good all through and on occasions well above average league standardo
The Indians' setback leaves the Hong Kong Cricket Club the only unheater teum in the "A" Bo far, and as the competition is now reaching its final stages a review of the positions will not be out of place. But first of all it is interest-

Among the laughs, are Buster's fight at sea with the ram runners, his accident when he swings his head downward from the most of the yacht in a hurricane, and the wreck of the launch engine room. In the theatre scence Buster breaks
