Two boatmen were before the Marine Magistrate for failing to take out a license for their boats. and for anchoring in a cable reserve. area, between Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong. Both defendants pleaded guilty and were each fined 87 or seven days' imprisonment on the first offence and $10 or ten daya' on the second summons.
