Honolulu.-Leprosy is still with out a definite and positive cure, recording to physicians engaged in working with leprosy in the liawaiian islands. Despite the ad- ministration of treatment, the isolation of cases, and the improve- ment in prevalent symptoms of persons treated, the disease con tinues to manifest itself in isolated cases with persistence.
At the close of the last fiscal year, there were 400 lepers at the Kalnupapa settlement on Molokai, and 164 cases at the Kalihi hospi- tal in Honolulu, or a total of 860 known cases in the islands.
Importance of Dist.
Twenty years ago, the total num- ber of lepers in the territory was 01. During this time the terri- lory has increased from roughly' 200.000

"God the preserver of was the subject of the Lesson-i Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, June 18.
The Golden Text Was:
The eternal God., is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deut 33:27).
Among the citations which com- prised the Lesson-Sermon was the fallowing from the Bible: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:18,17).
The Lesson-Sermon also included the following passages from the Science text-book, Christian "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures", by Mary Baker Eddy: Is it not a species of in- fidelity, to believe that so great a work as the Messiah's was done for himself or for God, who seeded no help from Jesus' example to pre- serve the eternal harmony But
