At the Tung Wah Hospital yesterday a meeting of all the Kaifongs was held under the auspices of the Directors of the Tung Wah Hospital and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce to discuss' ways and means of meeting the present water shortage.
Mr. M. K. Lo, Chairman of the Directors of the Hospital pre- sided and was supported by Mr. Li Yick Mul. There was a large and representative gathering present including two of the Chinese members of the Legislative Council, the Hon. Dr. A. H. Katewall, C.M.G., and the Hon. Dr. S. W. Tso, O.B.E.

was not drinkable it could be used for wasbing and bathing which was absolutely necessary in the hot wea- ther.
