The Chairman (Mr. N. L. Smith) said that all such premises were regularly inspected. The following information was issued yesterday by the Public Works Department:—

Hong Kong Water Works. The total storage in the island reservoirs on the morning of Mon- day, May 27, anounted to 301.00 million gallons, ahewing a decrease of 22.92 million gallons during the past week; the amount collected from streams being 7.96 million galloo's.
