The following reports have been received:-
THE HONG KONG DAILY PRESS. TUESDAY, APRIL 23, 1929.
The market is quiet, with practic ay nothing doing. Deliveries have fallen away as is usual during the Ching Ming festival. Cotton prices! are cheaper, but are not reflected in the price of piece-goods
There is very little buying of cot- ian piece-goods at present. Now that the boycott has been more or less withdrawn, business in Japan- Jose goods is being resumed. Japan ree qualities will thus be an active factor once more, and will compete with the consignments sent out by Clearances Lancashire combines. 7.00
