PRESENTATIONS AT CLUB LUSITANO. SATURDAY'S SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION.
The esteem in which His Excellency the Governor of Macao, Senhor Artur Tamagnini de Souza Barbosa, his wife and daughter are held by the Portuguese Community of Hong Kong was demon- strated at an informal reception held at the Club Lusitano, at. the invitation of the Committee and members of the Club, on Saturday afternoon.
There was a large gathering of Portuguese residents, besides several visitors from Macao who had come over to say an ervoir to the Governor of Macao and family on their departure for Lisbon on home leave.
The following members of the Committee of the recent Inter- national Dance Festival were also present, namely Mrs. W. T. Southorn, Chairman of the Committee, Mesdames R. H. Kotewall, H. T. Creasy, P. M. N. da Silva and J. M. da Rocha, and the ~ Hon. Mr. JP. Braga and Mr. Ho Leung, Colonel Cardew was unavoidably absent.
