CANTON COTTON YARN MARKET.

According to a telegraphic message from Shanghai, prices of foreign | cotton yara have increased by two dollars and it is expected that on account of this, the market for Chinese, yarn will be steady. In spite of the reported settlement of the Tsinan Incident, the merchants still hesitate to order Japanese yarn. The Canton market con- tinues dull and only a few crannc tions are being made. Prices have dropped by three to four dollars owing to fall in the value of the Hong Kong currency.
