The Rumjahas started favourites, but before the match had gone far, it begame evident that Honda and Akiyama were bot going to let them have matters their own way. The Japanese won the first two games. and led at +9, which their oppor ents reduced to 4-3 Honda and Akiyama, however, forged ahead and deservedly won the first set by

6-3.

The Rumjahas immediately took the agressive in the next set and showed up remarkably well at over. head work, Honda and Akiyama defending resolutely.

The Rumjabas, in the course of the next two sets, played back hard, and conceded one game only to the Japanese.
