We have received the following Jetter from Mr. Y. E. Wong, who describes himself as a "Shareholder of the Canton Waterworks Company." Mr. Wong complains that the Municipal Government forcibly took, control of the Company and are refusing adequate compensation to shareholders, the Commission appointed to enquire. into the question consisting of a majority of Government officials, It will be remembered that our Chinese correspondant in Canton has several times dealt with the Municipality's side of the question.
