MAN WHO CAPTURED A BAG SNATCHER.
A pleasing little ceremony took place in the Dixwall Road' hall of the Richa Mission, Shanghai, when Mr. George Matheson hand- ed to Yang Geo, & public ricaha coolic, the sum of 625, which had been presented to him by the Shanghai Municipal Council for going to the assistance of a British lady, whose purse had been snatch- ed, and pluckily arresting the miscreant.
In handing over the money, Mr. Matheson commended the coolie's action and said:-
