Yet these same doctors have per- formed one of the miracles of modern medicine in bringing the King through the cries of an ill- nees which, in nine cases out of ten. would have proved fatal.

No hint of their abilities can be scen in these men. To talk to they are just like any other doctors and yet they have achieved something that has made their names bywords in every part of the world.

Lord Dawson and Sir Stapley Hewett.

There are curious contrasts in character and mannerisms among these eleven, men, who scem to divide naturally, into pairs.
