Macedonia (British) arrived from London and Singapore with 660 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 1,460 tons for through ports.

Dalius (British) arrived from Dirkenhead and Singapore with 500 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 3,600 tons for other ports.

Anking (British) arrived from Amoy and Swatow with 2,464 tons of general merchandise for ports beyond this Colony.

Stectuen (British) arrived from Canton with 173 tons of general merchandise for other porte.

Liangehow (British) arrived froán Dairen and Amoy with 428 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 1,008 toas for through ports.

Fook Sang. (British) arrived from Kobe with 217 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 172 tons for through ports.

Krong Sang (British) arrived From Canton with 380 tons of gen- eral cargo for ports beyond Hong Koog,

Brittinn (British) arrived from Balikpapan with 1,175 tons of solar oil, 3,024 tons of fuel oil and 600 drums for Hong Kong.

Wisconsin (U.S.A.) arrived from Zamboanga with 3,200 tons of copra, hemp and general cargo for through

ports.

Song Bo (French) arrived from Fort Bayard with 230 tons of gen eral merchandise for Hong Kong.

Tonkin (French) arrived from Haiphong with 1,100 toos of gen- eral cargo for Hong Kong.

Timayo (Italian) arrived from Trieste and Singapore with 1,200 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 4,200 fons for other ports.

The defendant now produced & clearance permit which had expired. When informed of this the defen- dant replied that he was in a hurry and forgot to have it changed.

Making Fast To A Blue Funnel Ship.

Cheung, Yau, coxswain of the motor boat Cháng. Fat "No. 1 was summoned for making fast to the Blue Funasi boat Keemun whilst underway in the Harbour. The de- fendant pleaded guilty.

In answer to his Worship who en quired if there were any passengers on board. the defendant's launch, the police officer in charge of the case replied that there were two coolies, presumably boarding house runners, who scaled the side of the ship as the boat went alongside.

A fine of 810 or 10 days' hard labour, was imposed.

Failed To Observe The Bulak Of The Road.

For failing to observe the rules of the road, Tang Kau, master of a steam launch Yau Fat was fined $23. It was stated that the defen- dant backed his boat about 500 yards and then turned round and took the wrong side of the fairway.

For being in Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter without a permit, four mistresses, of fishing boats were fired. 83 each. One of the defen- dsats said that the wind was too strong for them to leave the Shelter. The master of a cargo-boat. who failed to show his lights was also fined 85. He said that the string broka and the light fell from the top mast and broke.

Measles On The Macedonia. The P. & O. liner Macedonia az- riving from London and Singapore reports four cases of measles dur- ing the voyage. The vessel brought 489 packages of mail for Hong Kong.
