Levernbank (British) arrived from New York and Amey with 5,410 cases of oil, 500 drums of cii, 322 tons of general goods for Hong Kong and 1,000 tons of general cargo for through ports.

Telemachus (British) azrived from Saigon with 1,900 tons of rice for Hong Kong

Kiangsu (British) arrived from Bangkok and Swatow with 1,544 tons of general cargo for Hong Kong and 84 tons for through porta.

Perssus (British) -arrived from | Yokohama and Shanghai with 160 toas of general cargo for Hong Kong and 4,340 tons,for. through porta.

President Taft (American) ar rived from Manila with 115 tons of tobacco, rope, old metal and general cargo for Hong Kong, and 1,000 tons for through ports.

Hirundo (Norwegian) arrived from Bangkok and Swatow with 1,449 tons of rice for Hong Kong.

It is stated that the strikers are in league with the local branch of the Seaman's Union at Canton. The 4.5. On Leg, the sister ship of the Tai Lee' was obliged to return to Hong Kong without descharging ker cargo.

The strike was, however, settled the next day, following a confer-

5.9. Tai Ming Goes To Dock. Te Wachow river steamer, Tai ming, which struck a submerged obstruction at night during her voyago to Hong Kong, has gone into dock for survey. On arrival of the vessel at Hong Kong it was not considered necessary, but the owners have since, decided to ascertain the exact damage. It is thought that she has cracked her cement caring.
