SOUTH CHINA . HK.F.C. South China maintained their un. beaten record when they met the Club at Caroline Hill, although the margin was a solitary goal.
The Club were without Stewart and McBride, Gerrard played at centre-half and Wallington replaced McBride at right halt. South China had a full league, team out, A large crowd witness the game.

The defence on both sides beat the attack until late in the first half when Pau Ka Chuen, unmarked, turned in from a centre by Ip Pak Wah.

Heavy scores were registered in the English League matches on Saturday, when home defences were again "sound. Visiting tams in Division III, were badly outplayed, only one in each section getting full points. Eight visiting teams in the Southern Section failed to score, and their "total" collection was four goals to by "home" teams. Luton and Swindon, among the latter, gained four and five" goals respectivaly. A similor misfortune overbook Northern Section visitors who failed to score in seven matches Rochdale, Southport and Wrexham each netted Ave goals without reply.

The former recently dis placed the leaders, but Plymouth came back to the top by defeating Fulham four goals to two. Then Baldwin was forced to retire with a strained muscle. A break-away on the Athletic right led to the first goal, Suen heading a Ene centre from Ng Kum Chuen, inte the aet. At Happy Valley on Saturday this game failed to provide the spectators with much interest, the Police managing to snatch two points after a rather ragged dis play.
