Two masters of cargo boats were summoned for mooring their cargo boats outside five others alongside the ... Talamba lying in mid- stream. One of the defendanta pleaded guilty but the other' denied the offence. Police evidence was given by Lance.Sergeant, Hill who said that while he was on duty in the Southern Fairway he noticed, a number of boats alongside the 4.3. Talamba Going to the ship he saw the defendants boats lying out- side five others.
Both defendants were Bued 35. Large Buoy Adrift: Dangerous To Tavigation.
A notification to mariners posted at the Harbour Office states that a large whistling buoy was sighted by the Master of the .. Bintang in Lat. 15 deg. 4 N., and Long. 100 deg 7 E. The Master considers the drifting buoy to be dangerous to navigation. The notification is dated December 27th, 1938.
