Extending The Range. An outstanding feature of the exhibition was the large number of new lightweights on view. The Rudge-Whitworth range, for in- stance, has been increased by the addition of two 250 cc, models and new 350 c.c. machine, all of which are provided-with the makers four speed gear.

The 5.0 h.p. engine of the Matchless "big twin remains un- altered, but the machine has been entirely redesigned. The new frame gives an exceptionally low riding position, while here also the ground clearance is high.
