POLICE. SOUTH CHINA.
There appears to be an epidemic rough play in Hong Kong football at the present moment, and re ferees are doing their utmost to combat it. In this game at Cars line Hill yesterday, Rodgers, of the Police, received marching orders during the second half for kicking ar opponent. The game was never an interesting one to watch but the Police used their superior weight to bustle South China off their games, and should have won com fortably but for weak shooting.
Half time: Police 0 South China 0.
Played continued in favour of the Polico who could, however, do no thing right in front of goal. South China were occasionally dangerous. but failed in their final efforts, and the end came with both goalkeepers
unbenten.

CHINESE ATHLETIC r., HUNG
KUI SCHOOL.
Hung Kui met their masters in this mid-week league match Happy Valley yesterday, and the "Athletic completely ran them off their feet in the second half, when the School defence cracked badly,
The game opened evenly, both sides attacking with spirit. Atheltie however were always the better op- portunists. Leung Tnt Wing in particular being in great form and opening the score by netting off the post. A moment later the same player cleverly drew the defence and ran on to score with a beauty. Hung Kui struggled hard for a point, but rarely got within range, and before the interval arrived Athletic had added two more goals, both scored by Leung Tat Wing.
