Dorothy Gish plays the part of a little waif of Limehouse who is left to fend for herself. She is adopted by a wealthy lady on ae count of her resemblance to a dead daughter. In her new life she finds disillusionment in n' love affair and runs back to Limehouse before the curtain falls on her married to a wealthy husband.

She locks extremely charming and pathetic. When she is dressed, scented and curled she is not quite so pleasing, perhaps she missed the atmosphere of Hollywood and did not find an English studio sym- pathetic, however, she still nets well and holds her own in the centre of the stage.
